The rush of people trying to renew their driver’s license or vehicle tags before the new rates go into effect tomorrow has forcd the state to temporarily close its online renewal site. The rush to renew is understandable. As of September 1st, fees for driver’s licenses, vehicle registrations and titles will increased by 35 to 60 percent.
